The free TradingView alternative
DM Charts is a free charting platform for traders who want what TradingView's paid plans give, without paying: unlimited indicators, footprint charts and order flow. It runs in the browser and needs no account.
Open chartsFree. No sign-up, no download.

Why traders look for a TradingView alternative
TradingView is the most popular charting site, and its free plan is a good start. But it has limits: the free Basic plan allows 2 indicators per chart and 1 chart per tab, and volume footprints come only with the paid plans. If you chart every day, those limits push you toward a subscription.
DM Charts has none of those limits, and it adds order flow and options data that TradingView does not have on the chart.
What you get for free
- No limit on indicators or panes: moving averages, Bollinger Bands, VWAP, RSI, MACD, open interest and more, all on one chart.
- Several charts in one layout.
- Footprint charts: buying and selling at every price inside each candle.
- The order book heatmap and a DOM ladder, with big trades as bubbles.
- CVD and volume profile.
- Options data: implied volatility, skew, gamma levels and open interest by strike for Bitcoin and Ether.
- Pine-style scripts in a built-in editor.
- Drawing tools, replay with practice trades, and light and dark themes.
- Crypto from the major exchanges, plus stocks, FX, indices and commodities.
Moving over from TradingView
Most things work the way you expect: pick a symbol, pick a timeframe, add indicators, draw. A few things make the move easier:
- Pine scripts: open the Pine Editor, paste your script and press Add to chart. DM Charts runs Pine-style scripts on its own engine, so most scripts work, but not every one.
- Ask: press Ask (or Ctrl K) and type what you want, such as “add RSI and the 200 EMA”. The chart sets itself up, and Undo puts it back.
- No account: your layouts are saved in your browser, so there is nothing to sign up for.
Where TradingView is the better choice
TradingView covers far more markets worldwide, connects to brokers for trading from the chart, and has screeners, alerts across many markets and a huge library of community scripts and ideas. If you need those, keep it. Many traders use both: TradingView for the wider market and DM Charts for order flow.
Who DM Charts is for
Traders who want a free charting platform without indicator limits, and anyone trading crypto who wants order flow: footprint, heatmap and CVD, from the major exchanges, joined across venues. See the free order flow platform for the full list.
